Implementing The 2030 Agenda: Youth's Part - Global Perspective

One in three people worldwide—including nearly 90% of the world's youth—live in developing nations, particularly in Africa and South Asia. According to demographic trends and estimates, the young people's share in the world's population is dwindling and is predicted to drop below 20% by 2075.

The globe has a historic chance to take use of this generational advantage provided to us by "Generation Hope" during the following several decades and work with them to create a happy, healthy, and successful future for everybody.

The seventeen Sustainable Development Goals would surely improve the world if they are successfully implemented, but the 2030 agenda cannot be achieved without youth support, inclusion, and investment. The young of the globe will be most negatively influenced by the accomplishment or collapse of the goals over the next twelve years and by 2030. As they stand to earn or lose the most, it is therefore in everyone's best interests to have them personally involved and engaged in the agenda's success as partners.

Youth can make a significant contribution to achieving the 17 SDGs. The key areas of the agenda they can contribute to environmental preservation (SDGs 7, 13, 14, 15), social empowerment (SDGs 7, 13, and 15), economic empowerment, participation, and innovation (SDGs 8, and 16). (SDGs 1, 2, 5, 10). SDG 17 (Collaborations for the Goals), which focuses on reviving government alliances with the commercial and public sectors, intends to achieve this. Youth participation in this multi-stakeholder alliance should be promoted in order to incorporate their sustainable development initiatives.

Younger folks are active change agents in their communities and can be instrumental in mobilising the masses. Governments and international stakeholders must coordinate their efforts in order to provide projects that effectively advance juvenile rights by involving them in the judgement procedure. Young people have the ambition, aspiration, and capacity to make the much more effective changes to the world so that it is a better place for everyone when they are supported by genuine political commitment and proper funding allocation.
