The calm and peaceful neighborhood of Al Barsha is home to the Mall of the Emirates, a massive shopping complex that features fashion companies, department stores, and restaurants from across the world, as well as attractions like the indoor ski slopes and penguins at Ski Dubai. Al Barsha Pond Park is a favorite place for picnics and go-karting, and it is tucked away in the shade. Nearby is the expansive Dubai Miracle Garden, open from October to April and features exquisite floral displays and butterfly domes.
